Governance

Proposals your tokens can vote on, the power each one carries, and how those votes landed.

Not shareholder voting

This desk shows sample data, not your positions.

Every figure below is invented for layout and review. It is not read from your wallet and must not be acted on. Real proposals need the on-chain governance contracts wired. Note that this is token governance, not a vote in the underlying company.

Tokenized stock tokens usually do not carry real shareholder voting rights

This is a well-documented property of tokenized equities, not a limitation of this app. In most structures the token is a claim against an issuer that holds (or hedges) the underlying share - the issuer, custodian or nominee stays on the company's share register, and the token holder is not a shareholder. Proxy materials, annual meeting votes and shareholder resolutions of the listed company are therefore generally unavailable to you, and some issuers state plainly that they will not pass votes through at all. Certain tokens are structured as derivatives that never touch a real share.

Everything below is on-chain governance of the token wrapper or of the Vortif protocol itself - reserve attestation policy, oracle choice, fees, collateral parameters. It is real governance with real consequences for your token, and it is not a vote at Apple, Microsoft or Tesla. Rights differ per issuer and per token and can change: verify what your specific token actually grants in its own issuer disclosure and terms before assuming any right, including any right to vote, to receive dividends, or to redeem for the underlying.

AAPL-T: move custody attestation to weekly Merkle proofs

Require the issuer to publish a Merkle root of the segregated AAPL share reserve every 7 days instead of monthly, with a third-party attestor signing each root on-chain.

AAPL-T is an issuer-held claim. Holders are not on Apple's share register and receive no shareholder vote. Votes below govern the token wrapper only.

VIP-14: reduce protocol fee on tokenized-equity swaps to 0.05%

Cut the swap fee from 0.12% to 0.05% for 90 days to test elasticity of routed volume. Treasury models a 38% volume lift as the break-even point.

VORT is the protocol's own governance token. It carries votes over Vortif parameters and treasury, and no rights in any listed company.

TSLA-T: fund an issuer proxy relay for pass-through voting

Allocate treasury funds to build a relay that would forward TSLA-T holder preferences to the custodian as a non-binding indication. Does not create shareholder voting rights and the custodian is under no obligation to act on the relay.

TSLA-T is an issuer-held claim. Holders are not on Tesla's share register and receive no shareholder vote. Votes below govern the token wrapper only.

VIP-15: onboard XOM-T to the collateral registry

Add XOM-T as accepted collateral at a 65% collateral factor with a 2.0M borrow cap, subject to the oracle meeting the three-feed median requirement set in VIP-12.

VORT is the protocol's own governance token. It carries votes over Vortif parameters and treasury, and no rights in any listed company.
